Cassie & Daniel | Summer wedding at Horsley Lodge Golf Club

Today I’m taking you back to July 2023. The wedding of Cassie & Daniel at Horsley Lodge Golf Club, Horsley Lodge Drive, Off Smalley Mill Road, Horsley, Derbyshire, DE21 5BL.

Horsley Lodge the wedding venue is so beautiful on the foothill of the peak district. One of Derbyshire’s finest golf courses makes a perfect setting for wedding portraits and group photos.

Cassie and her bridal party stayed over in the Barn cottage which was great for morning prep photos.

Such a lovely couple and having had the honour of capturing their pre wedding shoot earlier in the year I knew how good they both were to photograph.

My style of photography is very emotive and candid, very real and true. I always like the details of the day the small personal details and I like to capture and feature them in your photographs in a creative way. The beautiful wedding veil that Cassie wore was her Late beautiful mums. I wanted this to have it’s moment while we did couple portraits. Cassie and Daniel photographed through the veil which was such a stunning image.

I was booked for the full day from morning prep until just after the first dance.

The ceremony room was beautiful and really gave me an old Hollywood vibe.

I would love to work at this venue again in future.
