A beautiful day back in May was had for Sophie & Daniel. I covered bridal prep right until just after the first dance which was an honour as they are such a lovely family so it was such a good day.
The ceremony was held at Ecclesfield church which is such a stunning church, I hope to go back in future.
Sam the vicar was so so welcoming.
The reception was held at Whitley hall in sheffield, I have worked at Whitley hall many time and its always so beautiful.

I feel I must post about a beautiful wedding back in 2022, the wedding of Fran & Richard at Whitley hall, Sheffield.
I have been a wedding photographer at Whitley hall four times now and will be back again twice this year. I love this wedding venue it’s so local to me, in such a beautiful location.
I’ve been lucky to shoot in most seasons here from a crisp winter wedding to a super heat wave wedding and the weather between.
On Fran and Richards wedding day it was so lovely, really sunny and warm.
This was my first wedding back after taking my maternity leave with my son, I was so lucky to be able get back into shooting weddings when he was 8 months old. I had recently updated all my kit, new cameras, lenses literally a fresh start! I sold my old kit on ebay along with all my film cameras which now I regret selling the film cameras…
Back to the beautiful wedding.
I covered morning prep until just after the first dance. Frans bridal party were super chilled and lovely it was a pleasure to be a part of the morning.
Richard and his grooms men arrived later that morning and we did some prep shots outside and some chilled group shots. This is the time I love to capture candid images I feel emotions are high before the ceremony and I just love being a fly on the wall.
The ceremony was outside and was so stunning, beautiful flowers by Flower Bowl Sheffield.
After they said I do we had group shots and then couple portraits. I loved the group shots and even the peacocks came to join us.
Before the wedding reception which was also being held at Whitley Hall was a chilled drinks hour or two before the evening guests arrived.
Speeches were some of the best I have ever witnessed. I love capturing the reactions from guests and the couple.
After dinner the dancing started and the dancefloor was amazing.

Let me take you back to June last year when the weather was super sunny and very hot. Whitley Hall was blooming it was very green and pretty, all seasons are beautiful here.

Abbie and Joe had booked my full day wedding photography package from morning preparations until just after the first dance. I really felt like one of the guests being around such a friendly welcoming family.
I’m really looking forward to going back to Whitley hall few times this year, one of my favourite Sheffield wedding venues.
